This page will serve as a memorial to all the fallen skiers that have been taken from the world doing what they love. Whether it was their own bad luck, pushing their sport past what is possible or just their own stupidity.

The ski world is a very tight-nit community and when we lose someone they are never forgotten, this blog will keep those memories going and take some time to glorify each passed athlete's life accomplishments and impacts.

We will take a look at a few big names in the sport's recent and past but not limited too:

• Sarah Burke (Xgames skier)
• Shane McConkey (Ski Pioner/ Ski Base Jumper)
• Cr Johnson (payed to do what he loved)

Alot of these deaths have affected the wider ski community as well as online.
